Little Histories offers live, extemporaneous typewriter poetry for events where you want your guests to leave with something memorable, personalized, and full of magic (that sometimes makes you cry–in a good way!)

Perfect for:

• Birthdays, graduations, holidays – all kinds of private celebrations and milestones

• Weddings, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties and anniversaries

• Festivals, galas, fundraisers and corporate or nonprofit gatherings

• Bookstores, galleries, coffee shops, breweries, and other cozy, artistic corners,  community spaces and events

We love a theme and are more than happy to customize prompts to elicit poetry ideas from your guests. Past activations have included poetry “cocktail menus” for Valentine’s Day and Oscars® watch parties and “psychic” poets for Halloween (using tarot cards and rune stones).

How does it work? You can hire 1-2 Lil’ Hissies (typewriter poets) for your on-site event. You tell us when and where, and we bring the rest: retro typewriters, Little Histories-branded card stock (or custom stationery for a fee), and a good time. 

The result: a one-of-a-kind, original keepsake poem!
